Race
Of course we all know that it does not exist. Our politicians tell us so. Our priests tell us so. Our pundits tell us so. Therefore it must be so. Our politicians would like to punish us if we even think there might be such a thing. They have enacted legislation to punish us if we behave in certain respects as though we thought that such a thing might be reality.
The prevailing philosophy espoused by our dominant Left Liberal elite is that people are people are people, regardless of where they come from, and that observable differences are the consequence of where they were raised. This ignores the fact that social environments are created by people, not the other way round, and that whenever people congregate in sufficient numbers they inevitably seek to create the environment with which they are most comfortable. That is an inconvenience to be swept aside
This doctrine is held with the same fervour and conviction as it was formerly held that the earth is flat. Those who believe can get quite nasty with those who shall we say have doubts. Such doubters are described as racists or extremists or both and there are no stronger words of condemnation in their vocabulary. Such people are to be shunned, barred, silenced and otherwise disregarded.
For one-worlders, which is what our Left Liberals are, nation states, the idea of racial differences and competition between different groups have to be eliminated except on the football field or athletics track. That is why history is no longer taught adequately in schools.
The trouble is that they are talking absolute nonsense. The truth is otherwise and the consequences of ignoring it are all around us.
An obvious analogy is the family of dogs. They vary from tiny fragile creatures to Newfoundlands or Great Danes. They look different, they have different characteristics and different capabilities but they are all dogs. So it is with people who, like dogs, are mammals. In dogs we refer to the differences as breeds. In people you can call them what you like but it is unprofitable to pretend that they are not there.
If you were to take a pair of Great Danes to Peking and they were to breed they would not produce Pekinese. Similarly if you transpose a pair of Pakistanis from Karachi to the London Borough of Brent and they breed they will not produce English children but Pakistanis.
There has been a clever attempt by Left Liberals who abound in the press and broadcasting to confuse race and nationality which once were more or less synonymous but are so no longer. It is now the case that somebody with the name Lubinovich (I hope that is a made up name) can come to England, can be given British nationality and the BBC in one of its flights of fancy can refer to him as English.
For almost half a century British politicians have been trying to promote the idea of a multicultural society. That has produced not the expected integrated society but a collection of parallel societies communicating with one another hardly at all and with the host community only at the points of need or convenience. As numbers grow this is inherently an unstable situation. The multicultural idea has now been rejected as a failure by the immigrant head of the race relations industry.
Alarmed by the situation on the ground which is of their creation politicians are now running around trying to promote the idea of Britishness as a sort of umbrella category. It is rejected out of hand now by the English, Scots and Welsh and is in conflict with their earlier desire to create a European identity which was also a non starter.
They have got themselves into an unholy mess involving lying, deception and disastrously mistaken policies and are terrified that the public may finally realise it. |
